Different Types of Adoption

The process of completing an adoption will vary depending upon the type of adoption you are considering. Most of the adoptions our firm handles are open adoptions in which the parents have identified a birth parent with, or without the assistance of an adoption agency.

We also handle many step-parent adoptions, and relative adoptions, such as grandparents adopting grandchildren, or aunts, uncles or cousins adopting a child within the family.

The Adoption Process
